How to spot financial scams
Fraudsters often create urgency, promise guaranteed approval or impersonate a trusted business to obtain money or security information.
Common warning signs
- An upfront payment is demanded before a loan can be released.
- Approval is guaranteed without affordability or verification checks.
- You are asked for a password, banking PIN, OTP or card security code.
- The message pressures you to act immediately or keep the transaction secret.
- The website address, email domain or sender details do not match the official business.
What to do

- Open the official QuickBucks website yourself rather than using the message link.
